VGA Y Splitter Cable 1 PC to 2 Monitors

I bought this to use at work as I'm currently studying part time with the OU, my boss agreed to let me study at my desk out of hours. As I'm used to working on dual monitors I needed something to allow me to use my works monitor as a second screen for my laptop whilst keeping it hooked up to my works desktop.

Bought this to use 2 projectors for an art project. So far it hasn't really worked and I have found the splitter to either work with one projector or the other. I've used splitters before with no problems. Not sure why this one isn't working, will fiddle around with software etc and see what I can do if not I'll contact seller. Will update review soon.
