Review by Ian B on January 18, 2018Nice build quality on this adapter, which mated solidly without trouble to a pair of HDs which had been frustratingly intermittent with cheaper SATA power connectors. Which are in my opinion a poor, flimsy design in general compared to the old sturdy Molex type, but that's another issue. Basically whereas any old Molex would do, with SATA you need to get a good quality manufacturer, and Startech are just that kind of manufacturer. -

Mellor on August 24, 2017I had ordered this item because the one and only internal drive on my computer is a sata drive, and the power plug had become damaged, however I had spare molex plugs on my system, and so I ordered the 6 in 4 Pin Molex to Sata power from Startech.com. The item arrived quickly, and within a short space of time from receiving it I had it fitted to my computer, the plugs are a tight and snug fit, very happy with this product. -
