      I am running a PC with a GTX 980 FTW to a AOC 144hz gaming monitor but was suffering with DP connection issues (black screens) after trying a few other cables that should have worked but failed (not seeing anything above 60hz at 1920x1080p) this cable was my last hope...and it worked right away, full speed with no colour wash on the monitor.

      Works well in both directions at 1080p or 1920x1200:
      (a) PC DVI to HDMI monitor or HDMI switcher
      (b) PC/PS3 HDMI to DVI monitor

      Note: since DVI does not handle audio, audio output from PC/PS3 must be set to an alternative setting. This is can be set for PS3 and PC, but not for other devices/consoles, e.g. Wii U (you will need an audio HDMI splitter as well).
